We congratulate the new, future owner of this unique piece, which we were allowed to sell to the current second owner 4 years ago.
Basically, it is completely contradictory to our own attitude to ever let such a Porsche out of our hands again. If we didn’t have to trade cars every now and then in order to run our business properly from an economic point of view, this Porsche 964 would not have been for sale even then four years ago. This car would have gone into the private fund and would not have left the house again. If so, then only to know again how a p-e-r-f-e-k-t-e-r 964 feels when driving it. As a benchmark, so to speak. Reference and benchmark for all previous and future Porsche 964s that have crossed and will cross again. I’m sure you know how it feels when, as an enthusiast and professional alike, after hundreds of 964s, you suddenly find yourself standing in front of one and after a few moments of looking at the pennies you audibly drop and murmur to yourself: That fits.
Not a millimeter too deep or too wide. Not a phon too loud (maybe a little bit… which is perfectly captured by its quiet, reassuringly elegant color combination). If you have the impression that the car “stands” correctly. As it should. On the one hand as tame as if it couldn’t cloud any water, and on the other hand inviting to dance and promising to lead you at first. Self-confident and so sure of himself that one trusts him blindly as an observer and knows that it will be an unforgettable ride…
You have probably never heard a Porsche described like this before, have you? But please don’t worry, the factual part follows directly after this declaration of love. In spite of all the daily routine in dealing with truly special cars, even to us “boiled down” cars like this one happen here and there, which even knock our socks off. Rarely ever, but again and again… And this, although it is completely unpainted and does not wear any war paint. No Martini stripes, no blood orange or gulf blue, no flashing flashes.
He just stands there and you know it before you start him and ask him to dance. It is simply him. So, all this had to be written briefly before we get to the things that readers of such ads usually want to read. To the hard facts then.
First delivery 19.02.1991 in the Porsche Center Strähle Schorndorf.
Polar silver metallic, full leather Sherwood Green, ESSD, automatic climate control, 2 airbags, R/C Blaupunkt, sports seats left/right, central locking.
First registration 19.02.1991 to the first owner.
Until 2016, from 2016 until today to the second owner, who understood this car exactly the way we both wanted it to be. For driver and car alike. Maybe we should let this sink in for a while.
In order to give a description as factual as possible, we turn back to the facts:
1994 Conversion/ rebuild of the engine to 3.8 RS from a renowned PORSCHE workshop with many years of successful international racing experience, Turbo 3.6 brake system, H&R racing suspension with unibal bearing, BISCHOFF stainless steel racing exhaust system, 235/255R17 i. V.m. 8.0 and 9.5Jx17J Cup rims, mech. limited slip differential 40%, strut brace and many other details up to the perfect balance and measurement/weighing of the vehicle.
October 2011 at km level 114.000 complete engine revision with subsequent performance measurement and diagram. Result 315 HP.
A driver since 1991, exclusively serviced by a Porsche master from day one, at least one annual inspection, not a single winter (in the Org. letter traceable every winter shut down), no salt, hardly any rain, completely documented and preserved almost flawlessly by pedantic care. Of course, the Porsche stood exclusively in the garage when it was not being driven. There was no smoking in the vehicle. Today it is in top condition and can be used immediately without any maintenance backlog.
Before we go any further, we would like to invite concrete interested parties to visit us and talk to us at our premises by appointment.
We assure with the weight of our decades of experience: Probably we are talking about a Porsche 964, which will not be seen a second time with this history, in this condition, but especially in this technical constellation and technical and optical condition. In other words: from a rational point of view, the vehicle can no longer be improved.
So please allow us to conclude with a brief but highly emotional outburst of emotion: THIS 964 IS THE HAMMER!
All technical changes are TÜV-approved and registered, the vehicle is delivered with a current inspection including a fresh general inspection and in half a year it will have a well-deserved H-registration. That’s what you get for dessert.
With best recommendation
